The privacy of your data - and it is your data, not ours - is very important to us. We'll only ever access your account to help you with a problem or squash a software bug. We log all access to all accounts by IP address, so we can always verify that no unauthorized access has happened for as long as the logs are kept.

Identity & Access

When you sign up for Renters Voices, we ask for your name, email address and phone number (optional). We also ask you to set up a password if you are using this login method instead of Google authentication. Email is required so we can identify the user and in future if you need to reset your password, we can send reset email to that address. We'll never sell your information to third parties. If you post a review about rental properties, your name will be displayed to other users, but your email address will never be displayed.

Renters Voices ask for minimal information because that's what it is required to build a system which can show reviews. Your search for places will not be saved. Reviews are saved and displayed to all users.

We save rental properties that you add along with all the reviews you post. This is the minimal data we store in our system. All credential information is stored in encrypted format.

The only times we'll share your information:
  • To investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Service or as otherwise required by law.

  • If Renters Voices is acquired by or merged with another company - we'll notify you well before any info about you is transferred and becomes subject to different privacy policy.

Law Enforcement

Renters Voices won't hand your data over to law enforcement unless a court order says we have to. Security & Encryption

We take security at Renters Voices with utmost concern. We do think security is back of the infrastructure that we run our application on.
